For this renovation of an historic Olmstead landscape, ACS and water garden designer Anthony Archer-Wills created a series of estate ponds, waterfalls and streams following the natural flow of the site. Behind all three waterfalls are grottos of various sizes, to be discovered by adventurous visitors to the property. The most dramatic of these grottos is situated behind the tallest waterfall and measures 22’ L x 12’ W x 9’ H, complete with stalactites and stalagmites.
